Advanced Nurse Practitioner
Liz is an award-winning advanced nurse practitioner, non-medical prescriber and Queens Nurse. She is the lead nurse at Attenborough Surgery, Herts, where she has a specialist interest in diabetes and respiratory care. Her clinics are varied including women’s health, travel and immunisations, wound care, mental health, and urgent care. Her day to day is never routine or boring.
Her research background is in near patient diagnostics and antibiotic stewardship. In 2017 she held a NIHR Clinical Fellowship. She has presented her work in the House of Commons, USA, India, and nationally.
She represents primary care nursing on the NICE Indicator Advisory Committee.
