Sarah Batson

Sarah leads our statistical analysis capability, offering various solutions for the statistical comparison of clinical evidence. Since joining the market access consultancy industry in 2011, Sarah has gained extensive experience in the design and application of systematic review and statistical methodology across a diverse range of therapeutic areas. During this time, she successfully completed an MSc in Medical Statistics, specialising in health technology assessment, achieving a distinction.

As a statistician, Sarah has been responsible for conducting evidence synthesis for publications, value propositions and health technology assessments across a variety of geographies. Sarah can perform statistical analyses in R, Stata and WinBUGs and has worked on several successful health technology assessment submissions. Sarah has interests in method developments, particularly in the field of network meta-analysis and has conducted numerous independent research projects alongside her consultancy role. Sarah’s motivation is driven by a desire to address issues encountered when conducting evidence synthesis projects to improve the quality of secondary research.

Sarah has a PhD in Biological Science from the University of Warwick.
