With more than 12 years’ experience in health economics and market access, Lydia provides strategic consultancy to the pharmaceutical and medical device industry. Lydia works closely with clients to understand their requirements and to advise on the optimal approach to support market access of their technologies, specialising in the scoping and delivery of payer-facing communication tools.
Lydia has been responsible for the development and/or project management of more than 60 local budget impact calculators. This experience is complemented by technical economic modelling or project management of UK health technology assessment submissions for NICE, SMC and AWMSG.
Lydia worked for several years as a health economist before progressing to project management and consulting. She has developed and managed many cost-effectiveness and budget impact models, across a wide range of disease areas, including oncology, pain management, psychiatry, diabetes, autoimmune disease, respiratory disease, and urology.
Lydia has an MSc in Economic Evaluation in Healthcare from City, University of London and a BSc in Biology from the University of Southampton.
